In the first issue of our brand new digital magazine, we had the pleasure of interviewing a number of directors to chat with them about their directorial debuts, including Francis Lee (God’s Own Country), Coralie Fargeat (Revenge), Mirrah Foulkes (Judy & Punch) and Numa Perrier (Jezebel). We also have a handful of features written exclusively for our magazine, including a look at how George A. Romero’s debut, Night of the Living Dead, shaped the horror genre as we know it, 21st century debuts from actors-turned-directors, and highlighting talented filmmakers to keep your eyes on.

The magazine will be available to download as a PDF once you finish at the checkout under the DOWNLOAD header. You will also receive a link to download it in an email. If you have any issues please DM us on Twitter – @JumpCut_Online

You’d be mistaken for believing this was issue 100 it’s so polished, let alone the very first one. Amazing articles and I’m stunned at how slick it looks visually. Can’t wait to see more!

  5. Hamish Calvert

The magazine is absolutely stacked with content, offering a rich variety of articles and interviews on both mainstream and independent film. JumpCut’s previous years of hard work and building relationships within the film community is evident in the diverse collection of writers they have featured here and their fantastic quality of work is made all the more enjoyable thanks to the professional and engaging design. The abundance of interviews with famous filmmakers is astounding but the magazine makes sure to spend equal amount of time moving the spotlight onto those lesser known, but just as important creatives also working in the industry today. There are no filler pieces here, with every article making the small cost completely worthwhile. This magazine is a must read for any and all kinds of film fans, you won’t regret investing in a copy.
