The independent Multi-award-winning short film MATURING YOUTH from RNF took home two top honour awards of Best Indie Film and Best Actor at the Olympus Film Festival in Hollywood, California.
RNF’s latest production has gained attention on a wide variety of outlets for a strong marketing campaign before it’s release to the audiences next year. The film has won several awards at national film festivals, landed a week-long theatrical distribution deal and streamed on network television for a limited engagement over this past summer, has been qualified to enter into the Academy Awards and is gearing up for an international premiere in 2020.
The Award-winning producer Chase Michael Pallante, who also is the studio executive of RNF, took home the award for Best Indie Film for Maturing Youth at the Olympus Film Festival held at the Laemmle NoHo 7 Theater in Los Angeles, California. Leading actor Sean A. Kaufman won the award for Best Actor at the award ceremony held on July 12, 2019.
“The entire team and I are beyond grateful the recognition of our hard work put into this production,” said Pallante. “The members of the [Olympus] film festival have such a scintillating personality that made the experience both beneficial and edifying for filmmakers like us and our film. This award goes to everyone who strives for their dreams and stops at nothing to make it happen.”
The Multi-award-winning short family drama by Award-winning director and writer Divoni Simon is about a man who discovers he has a son when his past lover comes back to drop him off. However, when his son gets sick life steers him in directions he may or may not agree with. Starring Best Actor winner Sean A. Kaufman, Best Actress winners Kim Paris and Darleen Rae Fontaine, this dramedy questions the responsibilities of our actions, the sorrow in our happiness, the joy in our pain, and the ultimate test of character by learning the painful truths of becomes what we truly are deep down inside.
