Maturing Youth‘s well-deserved success continues today as we have learned it has been picked as an official selection at this year’s Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE).

LIIFE is a week-long festival where last year they screened over a hundred short and feature-length independent films by filmmakers across the globe. This year marks the 22nd year for the festival and will take place July 12 – 18. In the past, the festival has been no stranger to big names in attendance, with previous attendees including Steve Buscemi, Ralph Macchio, Edie Falco, and Karen Allen to name just a few.

Maturing Youth will screen on the first day of the festival, July 12. Tickets will be available soon on the films official website at www.MaturingYouth.com and you can find out more about the festival itself on the official website.

In the meantime, audiences can watch the film this Sunday, May 5 screening at Hang Onto Your Shorts’ Film Festival at 5:15pm in Asbury Park, NJ at the Porta. Tickets are available at www.MaturingYouth.com

In case you missed it, we recently interviewed Joshua St. Leger, who stars in this film, as he talks to us about what it was like being on a film set, and who he’d love to act alongside in the future.
