Reports today confirm that Harrison Ford is set to reprise his role as officer Rick Deckard for the reboot of 1982’s classic ‘Blade Runner’. Director of the original film, Ridley Scott, will be stepping away from the chair and in to a production role, leaving Denis Villeneuve to take the directorial throne.

As the man who brought us the fantastic ‘Prisoners’, Villeneuve is well equipped to recreate the dark, dystopian future we all loved from the original movie. Besides, Harrison Ford read the script and is quoted as saying “this is the best thing I have ever read”, and if Han Solo says it’s good, it must be good.
